How Long Does It Take To Build My Home?
KIB Homes typically operates on a 6-month build schedule. While it is very rare to see a project exceed 8 months, factors such as weather, material availability, and project complexity can affect the timeline. Please note that while we target 6 months, we do not guarantee a specific completion date due to these variables.

What Is A Square Foot Price For My Home?
While a square foot price does exist as a general reference, every home is unique. Factors such as finishes, utility expenses, and lot costs all influence the final price per square foot. KIB Homes uses a current price catalog and take-off style estimating to build accurate project estimates. We can also walk you through current and recently completed projects to give you a real-world sense of costs. Until we complete a detailed estimate based on your specific selections and specs, the final number will vary. We encourage you to schedule a consultation so we can show you exactly where your investment is going.
-
Will KIB Homes Build On My Lot?
Yes, we will build anywhere on good soil.
-
Am I Going To Be Surprised At The End Of The Project And Be Way Off Budget?
KIB Homes strives to keep your project on budget. We give realistic allowances based on our discussions in all areas of your home, and we have been able to stay within 1-3% of the budget on many of our projects. The key to staying on budget is sticking to your allotted allowances. Our upfront process ensures you know your numbers and can make informed choices throughout the build. If you are working with a tighter budget, we especially encourage you to explore our KIB Choose a Plan line. Allowances are set for a reason — they reflect real material and finish costs — and when clients stay within them, on-budget completion is very achievable.
